I found your genealogy page during a web search for KALBACH names. Your Adam KAHLBACH seems to be my very distant cousin, I am in contact with his direct descendants and will forward your page to them. I have some family relationship info on him, his ancestors, and his descendants. I'm still organizing and searching at a slow pace so do not have it in GEDCOM format yet (I'm still scribbling on paper). Much of this line is from the family history of this branch, and I don't have the paper to back it up yet. I do have complete confidence in it, and as soon as I have most of the relationships straight I'll start searching for documents.
ADAM KALBACH b.1740 - d.1801,
+ Maria Eva Spang, b.1745 - d.1818
9 (or 11, depending on source) childrern, including:
MICHAEL KALBACH
+ Magdelena ?????
3 children, including:
JOHN ADAM KALBACH, b.1788 - d. 1865 (?)
+ Sarah Wenrich
9 children, including:
ISAAC KALBACH
+Christina Koch
I do have the names of all the above children plus those of Isaac and Christina's descendants, which continue to those generations still living. My research goal is to show as completelly as possible the descendency of my ancestors, so far I have three distinctly separate branches, including mine, from that Adam (b.1740) Kalbach of Berks Co. Pa. I'll pass your website along to two branches of those descendants who I presume will be very interested to contact you. I'll gather up
all the stuff I have (I've been promising myself to do it each weekend) and send it to you as soon as I'm able.
Would you mind if I included parts of your research and information in my finished project?? I'll give appropriate credit to you of course, and do not plan to earn profit from my completed Kalbach project. I look forward to corresponding with you, and expect that my distant cousins may e-mail you as well.
Regards, Chris Kalbach (kal@alaska.net)
