He entered the "drug business" (pharmacy?), retiring about 1898. His family and information is from his descendant, Richard T. Conroy.

[17854] [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 6, Ed. 1, Tree #4418, Date of Import: Apr 11, 1997] The LDS Church's unverified IGI file gives his parents as Johannes Wenrich and Christine Mountz. http://www.wenrich.net/history/other/Pwen.html states "John and his brother Paul were on the building committee when the present building of the Little Tulpehocken Church was erected in 1809. The Church is just west of Bernville and is now known as Christ Little Tulpehocken Union Church. John and Susannah were buried there. The 1800 census indicated 4 boys and 4 girls. John's will, written in German in 1827, is on file at Reading."
