Mr. Stough was a 1940 graduate of Shelby High School and was an Army veteran of WW II, serving in the 475th Military Police Escort Guard. He retired from Shelby Salesbook Company after 46 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and American Legion O'Brien Post 326 in Shelby. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Stough is survived by three daughters, Pamela Jacobs of Shelby, Rebecca Riser of Columbus and Susan Price of New Miami; five grandchildren, Russell Jacobs, Angela McAtee, Ryan Riser, Michael Price and Jeffery Price; and two great-granddaughters, Megan Riser and Alexandra McAtee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean (Briner) Stough in 2001; a son, David Stough in 1947; and a sister, Marian Welsh in 1989. Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 20, 2002 from 10-11 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home, 168 W. Main St., Shelby. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery with military honors conducted by Shelby American Legion."
