[2362] In 2007 http://www.fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/GERMANY,%20Kings.htm offers: Henry III "m secondly (Ingelheim 20 Nov 1043) Agnesde Poitou, daughter of Guillaume V 'le Grand' Duke of Aquitaine [Guillaume III Comte de Poitou] & his third wife Agnès de Mâcon [Bourgogne-Comté] ([1025]-Rome 14 Dec 1077, bur Rome, St Peter's). Herimannus names her 'Agnetam, Willehelmi Pictaviensis filiam' when recording her marriage. The Chronicæ Sancti Albini records the marriage '1043 XII Kal Nov…apud Vesbrianim' of 'Henricus imperator…filiam Willelmi comitis Pictavorum et Agnetis'. She was crowned empress with her husband at Rome 25 Dec 1046. She was regent during the minority of her son from 1056. Her husband's old adviser, Gerhard von Eichstätt by then Pope Victor II, who was in Germany when her husband died, remained in Germany until spring 1057 as the chief adviser of Agnès and ensured a smooth transition of power. She also installed herself as Agnes Duchess of Bavaria in 1056, until 1061 when she appointed Otto von Northeim as duke. In 1062, Anno II Archbishop of Köln kidnapped her son King Heinrich IV and took him from Kaiserswerth to Köln. Agnès resigned as regent and went to Rome. According to the Preface of Vitæ Heinrici et Cunegundis Imperatores,' 'Agnes imperatrix eius [Chunigundis imperatricis] consanguinea, obiit Idus Decembris', although the exact relationship between Agnes and Empress Kunigund (widow of Emperor Heinrich II) has not been traced. The necrology of Regensburg St Emmeran records the death 'XIX Kal Jan' of 'Agnes imperatrix'."

A file in Ancestry.com in 2013 offers: "Info From One World Tree": "Note: Came to America from Germany in 1753--came through Philadelphia on the ship Windsor by way of Rotterdam. He moved his family to Bedford, Pennsylvania in 1775. He was Dutch however, and was looking for religious freedom. Jacob's Will: dated 6 Oct 1814-"In the name of God Amen. I Jacob Oswalt of Londonderry township, Bedford County and State of Pennsylvania being of perfect mind and memory and calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that is appointed for all men once to die. Do make and ordain this my last will and testament, in the following form and manner first and prinsably I give and recomend my soul to allmighty God whom gave it and my body to be buried in common deasent christian burial and of such worldly efects as it heath pleased God to bless me with I dispose of in the following form and manner first I geave and bequeath unto my eldest son, Tobias, all my real estate consisting of the plantation whearas I now live on in the township and county afs with all the appertianances thereunto belong in together with all my movable property and household furnature mixed or unmixed, receiving ordering and directing that my eldest son, Tobias, pay unto each and every of my other children the sum of three dollars each that ie to say to my daughter Catherine three Dollars and to my daughter Crestin three Dollars to my son Michael three dollars, to my daughter Susan three dollars and to my son Jacob three dollars and I do by these presants constitute ordain and appoint my eldest son Tobias and Henry Miltheton to be the entire and sole executors of this my last will and testament hearby revoking anuling and seting aside all other wills heartofore made by me hearty ratifying and confirming this to be my only last will and testiment. Another file in Ancestry.com in 2013 offers: "It looks like there were two brothers Oastwalt: Johann George and Jacob who emigrated from the Bavarian Palatinate to Pennsylvania. Johann George seems to have moved down the Appalachian Trail and settled in the Orangeburgh District in South Carolina where there was already a large Swiss/German settlement, and the other was Jacob who stayed in Pennsylvania.
