Weatherwax, 49, of 21625 Ind. 120, who died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Rev. Richard J. Brown, pastor of St. John of the Cross Episcopal Church, Bristol, where Weatherwax was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Violet Cemetery, Goshen. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, where there will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Loveway Projects. He retired four years ago from the Indiana State Board of Health because of illness. He was born on June 30, 1928, in Elkhart. On Sept. 10, 1950, in Elkhart, he married Barbara A. Fuller, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lindie) Rininger of Mishawaka and Miss Cindy Weatherwax of Elkhart; two sons, Ilal of Union and James of Elkhart; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Barbara McKintrick of Merriville, Mich.; a brother, Gary of Middlebury, and his mother, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Fuller of Merriville. He was a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge, Bristol."
