(McTague) Gray. Lester served in the Merchant Marines during WW II. He was employed as a heating engineer with Dow Air Force Base and the City of Bangor and he retired from the University of Maine as a steam fitter. Lester was a member of the East Orrington Congregational Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte (Marshall) Gray; three brothers, Roy, Milo and Hoddy; and by a sister, Blanche. Surviving are a son, Alton Gray of Holden, and his girlfriend, Mary; three daughters, Donna Jamieson, of Holden, Beverly McGillicuddy and her husband, Danny, of Gorham, and Carol Reynolds of Holden; grandchildren, Amy, Andy, Anthony, Barbara, Loralyn, Lorraine, Netsie, Robin, Beth, Rachel, Jarrod, Sue, Chris, Shaun, Cara, Jason and Lisa; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Leland and Warren Gray."
