[26619] Janet's obituary: "Janet E. Perry, 64, of 16103 Mountain Green Road, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at her home. Born March 25, 1937, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late W. Cliff and Sarah E. Nimmon Piper. She was a 1955 graduate of Fannett-Metal High School; and later graduated from Chambersburg Business School. She was employed by Dallco Industries Inc. in Spring Run for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She also had been employed by the former Stanley Co. in Chambersburg; and as a bookkeeper for both Farmer's and Merchants Bank in Chambersburg, and Howard Johnsons at Blue Mountain Plaza. She was a member of Upper Path Valley United Presbyterian Church in Spring Run, where she served as a trustee, Sunday School secretary, leader of the Pioneer Club; and a member of Katherine Walker Circle. She was a volunteer of the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. She is survived by her husband, Chester H. Perry, whom she married May 17, 1958; a son, Seth R. Perry of Spring Run; two sisters, Dorothy P. Medill and Julia L. Devinney, both of Spring Run; nieces and nephews."
