Mr. Emhoff had been ill since the latter part of last December when he suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Emhoff was an industrious farmer and an upright citizen and a consistant member of the Reformed Church. His wife and four sons and two daughters survive him. The names of his children are: John, who resides in the State of Washington, but who was called home several weeks before his father died; Rev. Elmer Emhoff, pastor Reformed Church, York, Pa.; Harvey, of Bell township; Victor, of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Daniel Eisenhart, Sprankles Mills, and Mrs. Daniel Mowry of Worthville. Funeral Services were held at the home on Saturday, the 20th inst., at 10 a. m., conducted by Rev. U. O. H. Kerschner, of this place, and interment was made in St. John's cemetery in Perry township."

She was born on November 17, 1945, to Wendell and Marilena (Sinclair) Tucker. Muriel spent most of her childhood in Columbia Falls, until her mother and father moved to Holden, to manage the Cedar Haven Trailer Park. Muriel graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1964, where she made many lifelong friends. After marrying Gordon Smith they had two sons, Dwayne and Dale, and moved back to Columbia Falls. Muriel worked various jobs throughout her life, most notably at Mrs. Big John's and as the administrative assistant for the town of Columbia Falls. Mom was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed spending time her family and friends, especially at Montegail Pond. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Dwayne and Clark; husband, Gordon; and her son, Dale, who she missed dearly and is now reunited with him. She is survived by her son, Dwayne; his wife, Kimberly; grandsons, Derek and Devin, who were her whole world; her sister, Clara, all of Columbia Falls; and her special cat, Boots."

Centennial Road, died Tuesday, April 24, 1990, at Community Health Center of Branch County after a short illness. He was born in Branch County and was a lifelong resident of the Coldwater area. He served with the Marines during World War II. He was a licensed electrician with Bom Electric and later worked as maintenance supervisor at Coldwater Regional Center for 31-1/2 years, retiring in 1981. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Loose; daughters, Priscilla Huestis and Teresa Yoder, both of Coldwater, four grandchildren; a brother, Russell Wagar of Union City; and a sister, Betty Woodcox of Coldwater. Kenneth is son of Leo B. Wagar (1902-1974) and Ione Myrtle Clark (1903-1972). He served as a Corporal in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II. Phyllis operated a beauty salon in their home.
