He was born Oct 24. 1899, in Illinois, a son of Grant and Agnes (Wikle) Disney. For 40 years he worked as a foreman at the Chicago Post Office, retiring in 1964 from the U. S. Postal Service. Survivors include a daughter, Carol (Bob) Pirtle of Watertown, Wis., and a son, Donald Grant Disney of Chicago, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Other survivors are sisters, Zella Walters of Sturgis, Mich., Gladys Bessert of Albuquerque, N.M., and Erma (Erwin) Vollmer of Alexandria, Va. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude, on May 11, 1986, two brothers, Clifford and Kenneth, and sisters, Lola, Vema and Hazel."
