She married Joseph John Hayden in 1659 in Massachusetts. They had two children during their marriage. She died on July 3, 1690, in her hometown at the age of 49.

[56927] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 15 January 2022: "Machias - Alton L. Strout, 93, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on January 10, 2022. Alton was born on May 18, 1928, in Milbridge, the son of Alberta and John Strout. He attended Milbridge schools and then enlisted in the Air Force and served his country at the end of World War II. Alton and Lillian Corliss were wed on July 2, 1950, and were married 71 years and had four children together. Alton enjoyed hunting, fishing, sitting with his cats, bowling in his early years, playing cards, being a Mason and being a part of the Milbridge Veterans club for many years. Alton is survived by his beloved wife, Lillian Strout; his son, Garry and Janet Strout; his daughters, Diane and Wade Robinson and Peggy Strout; brothers, Joe and Stephanie Strout and Wayne and Jeannie Strout; sisters, Anita and Hollis Seavey and Lois and Johnny Farnsworth; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Ronnie Ward; sisters-in-laws, Karen Sue Golden - Strout and Beulah Strout; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Strout; brothers, Ronnie Strout and Dickie Strout; and a sister, Elaine Strout."
