She was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Cherokee, the daughter of Otis and Minnie Doran Boor. She graduated from McCune High School and Pittsburg State Teacher's College. She was a homemaker and a teacher in Lafontaine prior to her marriage. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Fredonia, where she was a deaconess of the church, Sunday school superintendent, CYF leader and very active in the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Garden Club, F.B.W. and Tuesday Study Club. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and playing Scrabble. On June 9, 1934, she married Leslie V. York. He died Dec. 29, 1983. Survivors include a son, Norman York, Kansas City; a daughter, Elaine Page, Stow, Ohio; a step-brother, Carl Boor, Derby; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne York."

He was president of the Texas Association of the Deaf, 1965-1967 .

Mr. Weibley was 43 years of age. He formerly resided in Perry County, from which place he moved to Kansas. Some years ago he moved to Carlisle and became a partner of former Prothonotary Joseph Cockley in the live stock business under the firm name of Weibley & Cockley. He was a kind and loving father and husband, and a good business man. He was a member of the First Reformed church. He is survived by his aged father, William Weibley, who made his home with him, his wife, a son, John, in the insurance business in Harrisburg, and a sister, Mrs. Alleman in Perry County."Walter farmed near New Kingston, PA.
