He was born in Dexter, May 17, 1903, the son of Harry and Edith (Larrabee) Hutchins. A life-long resident of the Dexter-Ripley area, he worked for many years as a farmer and has been employed in the Fay and Scott Machine Shop and in local mills. More recently, he was employed at a Hartland tannery, until his retirement about a year ago. Since that time, was assisting his son, Rodney, on the latter's Ripley farm. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, Penobscot Masonic Lodge and was a past high priest of St. Johns Chapter, Royal Arch Masons and Dexter Grange. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Amber (Seavey) Hutchins; a son, Rodney, of Ripley; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Miriam) Brooks of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several cousins and one niece."

She was born June 3, 1936, on Staten Island, NY, the only daughter of James Perkins and Marguerite (Leiper) Perkins Rowe. Barbara graduated from George Stevens Academy in 1955. Where she met her loving husband Dana C. Jones, they were married, October 1955 and raised their six children, lovingly and unconditionally. She is survived by her children, Timothy D. and wife Debbie, Kathy A. and husband Ken, Fawn P. and husband John, Colin K. and wife Anna, Carl E. and Gavin, Holly A.; her grandchildren Adele, Buzz, Shandi, Brittany, Nicholas, Laura, Katherine, Benjamin, Erica and Abigail, who were her pride and joy; nine great-grandchildren, whom she cherished; her many cousins, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and brother-in-law. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her brother Henry T. Perkins.
