[47696] "The Akron Beacon Journal, 23 November 1931," p. 17: "Mrs. Mary L. Myers, 82, widow of the late Leonard N. Myers and a resident of Akron for 50 years, died early Monday at her home, 740 Hillsdale av. She had been active about her home until three days ago. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. at the residence with Rev. E. W. Simon and Rev. George Cross Baner officiating. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery. Born In Pennsylvania Mrs. Myers was born in Middleburgh, Pa., and came to Akron In 1881. Her late husband was associated with the Motz & Myers Insurance agency for many years. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Myers Anderson, wife of Charles A. Anderson of Akron, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Bibighaus, Mifflinburgh, Pa. She was a sister of the late Mrs. George W. Sieber. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Fifty Year club, of Trinity Lutheran church and the Y. W. C. A."
