Gottfried was b. 1067-68 and d. as a lay brother in the abbey of Floreffe. His marriage to Sibylle ended in divorce or annullment over her affair with a neighbor while Gottfreid was away waging war.

"Godefroi de Namur, son of Albert III Comte de Namur & his wife Ida von Sachsen (-19 Aug 1139). The 'Chronicon Huberti' names 'Godefrido filio Alberti comitis Namucensis'. The 'Genealogica comitum Buloniensium' names 'Godefridum et Henricum comitem de Rupe' sons of 'Albertus de Namurco', specifying that Godefroi 'caruit liberis'. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names 'Godefridum comitem de Namuco et comitem Albertum de Rupe et sorores eorum' as children of 'Albertus comes senior Namucensis'. Comte de Château-Porcien 1097, by right of his first wife. He succeeded his father in 1102 as Godefroi Comte de Namur. He founded Floreffe in 1121.
m firstly ([1087], divorced [1104]) Sibylle de Porcien, daughter of Roger Comte de Château-Porcien & his wife Ermengarde ---. The 'Chronicon Huberti' names 'filiam suo [=Rogerus Porcensium comes] Sibillam' wife of 'Godefrido filio Alberti comitis Namucensis'. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names 'Sibiliam filiam comitis Rogerii Porcensis' as wife of 'comes Godefridus de Namuco'. She was seduced by Enguerrand de Boves Sire de Coucy, and fled her husband before giving birth to an illegitimate child.
m secondly ([1109]) as her second husband, Ermesinde de Luxembourg, widow of Albert II Graf von Dagsburg, daughter of Conrad I Comte de Luxembourg & his wife Clémence d'Aquitaine (-1141). The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names 'Ermensendem sororem comitis Guilelmi de Luscelenburg' as second wife of 'comes Godefridus de Namuco'. She succeeded in 1136 as Ctss de Luxembourg à Longwy."
