Mr. Bedeaux, who had been employed as a construction worker until shortly before he was taken ill Nov. 6 with appendicitis, died of complications following his operation. He had undergone several blood transfusions. His wife is the former Arlene Fisher, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles A. Fisher, Selinsgrove and Deland, Fla. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Claudette, 5; his mother, who resided at the Bedeaux home, and several brothers and sisters, all residents of the Bradford area."

"Bangor Daily News, 5 December 2009": "Rockland - Irving E. Maloney, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at Knox Center for Long Term Care, after a long illness. Born Aug. 9, 1925, in South Thomaston, he was the son of Frank H. and Grace Stanley Maloney. Growing up in South Thomaston, he attended local schools and worked on his father's Dublin Road farm. A World War II veteran, Irving served as a seaman first class with the U.S. Navy from September 1943 to December 1945. On March 8, 1945, he married Dorothy F. Billings in Rockland, where the couple made their home for a brief time before moving to South Thomaston. They ultimately bought a home on West Meadow Road, Rockland, where they resided more than 50 years. At one point during his career, Irving built the cross that adorns Maiden's Cliff, Camden.
The last of 18 siblings, Irving is survived by his wife of 64 years, of Rockland; one daughter, Donna Murgita and her husband, Bruce, of Thomaston; one son, Albert Maloney and his wife, Nancy, of Waldoboro; three grandchildren, Tina Hutchinson and her husband, Albert, of Cushing, Brian Murgita and his wife, Debby, of Camden and Harmony Rahkonen and her husband, Christopher, of Belmont; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Hutchinson, Nicole Hutchinson, Haili Rahkonen and Colton Rahkonen; as well as many nieces and nephews." Irving's service in the Navy included a PT Boat in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
