George William was the second son of George, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. In 1648, he received Calenberg from his elder brother Christian Louis when Christian Louis inherited Lüneburg. On Christian Louis' death in 1665, George William inherited Lüneburg, and gave Calenberg to his next brother, John Frederick. George William had remained unmarried, but his desire to improve the status of his mistress Eleanor, Countess of Williamsburg, (whom in spite of his promise he married in 1676) and of their daughter Sophia Dorothea, greatly alarmed his relatives, as these proceedings threatened to hinder the contemplated union of the Lüneburg territories. However, in 1682, the difficulty caused by George William's having a family and heirs of his own was bridged over by the marriage of his daughter with his nephew, George Louis (who later became King George I of Great Britain), son of George William's younger brother Duke Ernest Augustus, who became elector in 1692."

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Elkland. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Roland Harp, Marienville, Robert Harp, Marienville, Wayne Harp, Medina, N.Y., Donald Mangus, Livingston, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs Louise Shoemaker, Flemmington, N.J., Mrs. Viola Share, Corning, N.Y.; two sisters. Mrs. Tressie Brown, Kane, Mrs Bessie McCartney, Harrisville, Pa.; 21 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren The family will receive friends after 7 p.m.. [8531] Thomas is son of the Rev. Samuel Sherick (AKA Sherrich and Sharick)(1799-1849) and Esther Hurst (1803-1861). Thomas moved in 1846 with his parents to Jackson Twp., Richland Co. OH. He enlisted in Co. H of the 64th Ohio Volunteers for three years of military duty during the War Between the States. "History of Richland County, Ohio..." (Mansfield, OH: A. A. Graham & Co., 1880), pp. 796-7: "Sherrich, Thomas, farmer; he was born in Wayne Co., Ohio, Jan. 18, 1842; when he was about 4 years old his parents left Wayne Co. and settled in Jackson Township ; some three years after his father died, and left his mother to take care of the family and pay some debts which was against the farm; and by economy and industry the farm was saved and the debts all paid; the subject of this sketch worked upon the farm until the fall of 1861, when he enlisted in Co. H, 64th O. V. I. for the term of three years ; Capt. Lord commanded the company. They went into camp at Mansfield, and remained about six weeks ; they then went to Louisville, Ky., and joined the army of the Cumberland, and he was in most of the engagements in which his regiment participated; the regiment belonged to the 4th Army Corps, Third Division ; he was discharged at Cincinnati in February, 1864, having served three years and four months. He is an excellent farmer and an honorable and respected citizen. He was married to Miss Catherine A. Briner January, 1867; they had two interesting girls."

In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/DENMARK.htm offers: "Niels Svendsen (-murdered Schleswig 25 Jun 1134). Illegitimate son of King Svend listed in 'Knytlinga Saga', thirteenth in order in the list, while 'Saxo Grammaticus' lists him seventh in order. He was sent as a hostage to Flanders in 1086 in return for the release of his half-brother Olav. He succeeded his brother in 1104 as Niels King of Denmark. After the murder of his nephew Knud 'Lavard' Count of Schleswig in 1131, Emperor Lothar launched a revenge expedition against Denmark and compelled King Niels to do homage and pay a fine of four thousand marks of silver. He was driven out by his nephew Erik 'Emun' who succeeded as Erik II King of Denmark, but proclaimed his nephew Harald as his heir in an attempt to thwart Erik. He was murdered by the people of Schleswig.
" - m firstly ([1105]) as her second husband, Margreta 'Fredkulla' of Sweden, widow of Magnus 'Berrføtt/Barfod/Barfot/Barefoot' King of Norway, daughter of Inge I Stenkilsson King of Sweden & his first wife Helena --- (-4 Nov [1130], bur Roskilde). Her parentage and two marriages are referred to by Saxo Grammaticus. Snorre names 'Queen Margaret, a daughter of King Inge, who had before been married to King Magnus Barefoot' as the wife of 'the Danish king Nikolas, a son of Svein Ulfson'. She arranged the marriages of two of her nieces into the Danish royal family in an attempt to improve relations with the Swedish royal family. However, the plan backfired as she also gave the nieces in question two-thirds of her patrimony which served to flame the animosity with other members of the family.

"Niles Daily Star, 5 April 1926, p. 4: "Mrs. Rose Dustman, 70, wife of William Dustman, 403 N. Fourth street, died of heart disease Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mrs. Dustman had been in ill health and partially an invalid for about a year. With her husband she came to Niles one year ago from Three Oaks, but previous to living in Three Oaks they had been located in Freeport, Ill., for 33 years. Mr. Dustman is a carpenter by trade. Besides her husband, Mrs. Dustman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.F. Snyder, River Bluff, Niles, and Mrs. Frank Chamberlain. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Troost and Augustine undertaking rooms. Charles Kitterer, of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, will read the service.
