Weidner, 94, of 148 Mansfield Ave., died Thursday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Rita Eldridge, after an apparent stroke. Mrs. Weidner was born April 16, 1900, in Hayesville to William and Mary Catherine Galloway Helbert, and lived most of her life in Shelby. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and a 65-year member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Donald E. Weidner; a daughter, Catheryn Ernsberger of Clearwater, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; four great-greatgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Poppa, in 1981; her first husband, Roy E. Boggs, in 1933; four brothers; and three sisters."<\p>
