Born October 29, 1947, in Bangor, Maine, MaryLou comforted and gave warmth to all who knew her. Growing up in Veazie, she later graduated from Bangor High School. MaryLou started her career at the telephone company where she met husband, Bruce Trahan. Later dedicated her professional life to serving others, first as a lab technician at Bangor's St. Joseph's Hospital, and a social worker at KidsPeace Campus in Ellsworth. MaryLou's dedication was equally paralleled by her profound love for her family. She leaves behind, husband, Bruce; her sons, Sean Trahan and his wife, Tonya, of Rowlett, TX, and Shane Trahan and his wife, Tricia, of Raleigh, NC; her beloved grandson, Aiden Trahan; and grand dogs, Tillie and Buster. MaryLou is greeted in the afterlife by parents, Ralph and Verna Parks, of Veazie, Maine. MaryLou will be deeply missed, her spirit, contributions to her community, and love of family will forever be remembered."
