(p.228) as "afterwards of Woodhall, Northumberland, ...mentioned in the Court Rolls of Seton Delavel 1502, as tenant of Holywell, witness in a Suit relating to Tithe recovery on 20 March 1515, when aged 65, in the Consistory Court at Durham. He had issue ' William and James' (called John in Philpot's Pedigrees), of Hexham, Northumberland, witness at the Manor Court, Hexham, 16 Oct. 1500, admin. 10 Sept. 1535 at Durham, having had issue...." NOTE: he and his father may be confused.

John George DERR is the son of Christoph DERR (1655-UNK) and Elizabeth SCHOENART (1656-UNK). In September 2004 Maria Regina DERR (widow of Johann Phillip ALBERT) was recognized by the Sons of the American Revolution as a patriot who assisted in establishing American Independence by paying taxes (SAR Record Copy # 163342). She is also recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR Record Copy # 0741342). Maria Regina DERR was born February 2, 1735. She married Johann Phillip ALBERT April 20, 1756. She died April 14, 1812 and is buried at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church at Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, PA. Her partriotic service was paying taxes to the new government in 1777, 1778 amd 1780 as shown by the tax lists for Mount Joy Township, Lancaster County, PA. John Phillip ALBERT was born January 10, 1733 and died October 6, 1777. He is buried at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church at Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, PA."
