[58376] Isaiah's obituary: "Sebec - Pastor Isaiah H. Hill, 82, passed away December 9, 2023, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born February 9, 1941, in East Corinth, the son of Kenneth and Evelyn (Duran) Hill. Isaiah was a very humble, kind, caring, loving, and giving man. He grew up knowing hard work, and that continued all through his life. He worked 16 years at the Great Northern Paper Company as a very respected certified pipe welder and pipe fitter. He stopped working at Great Northern Paper Company in 1978, to answer God's call of being pastor of the Sebec Corner Baptist Church. He served at the church for 50 years and touched innumerable lives. He was also a farmer who had a passion for gardening and gave away much of the produce. His life was a living example of loving the Lord and loving people. If you had the privilege of spending any time with him at all, he would call you 'friend', and you would walk away knowing in your heart that you had a friend. Isaiah is survived by his loving wife, Laurene (Blodgett) Hill; son, Timothy Hill and his wife, Kimberly; daughter, Melanie Ness and her husband, Erick; seven grandchildren, Collin Hill and his wife, Jessica, Hannah Ness, Cole Hill and his wife, Cece, Michaela Hill, Caleb Ness, and Leah and Olivia Hill; five great-grandchildren, MayAnna, Jackson, Emmett, Octavia, and Avery Hill; two brothers, Carroll Hill and his wife, Cathy, and Fred Hill and his wife, Sharon; three sisters, Kenlyn Weymouth, Patricia Sinclair, and Lois Hill; sister-in-law, Sue Hill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Isaiah was predeceased by three brothers, Wilbur, Nathan, and John Hill, and two sisters, Judy Gellerson and Becky Tingley."
