[15887] Alice died in her husband's arms on the same day that his mother died in the same house, and the two women were buried together in Greenwood Cemetery. Alice's husband wrote of his young wife in his diary: "...we spent three years of happiness greater and more unalloyed than I have ever known fall to the lot of others...." (entry for 16 Feb 1884).
