She married Israel Kinney Jr. on 6 March 1793, in Oromocto, Sunbury, New Brunswick, Canada. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 17 June 1861, in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 83, and was buried in Tapleytown Cemetery, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada."

"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 3 August 1964, p. 4: "Bucksport - Mrs. Ruby Sanborn Hatch, 65, widow of Norman Hatch, died at a Penobscot nursing home Saturday after a long illness. She was born in Brooksville, June 6, 1899, the daughter of Charles and Abbie (Pert) Sanborn. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Yates of Blue Hill and Mrs. N. Margaret Andrews of Hollywood, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Weir of Orono; a step-sister, Mrs. Vivian Kelley of Hawthorne, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell-Tweehie Funeral Home with the Rev. Relland Clark of Blue Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Front Ridge Cemetery in Orland."
