Haskell, age 86, loving father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021 at the Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeannine G. (Boucher) Haskell, who passed away in 2018. Charlie was born on February 6, 1934, in Garland, Maine, a son of the late Arthur and Marion (Cunningham) Haskell. He proudly served with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserves, and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Sharpshooter Badge (Carbine). Prior to his retirement, Charlie worked tirelessly for Raytheon of Tewksbury as an electrician for nearly 40 years. In his younger years he loved to hunt ,fish and camp with his family. Charlie is survived by a loving daughter, Melissa Lopes and her husband, Chris, and grandchildren, Timothy and Jessica Lopes, all of Hudson, NH; and daughter, Michele Haskell. Charles is also survived by two sisters, Caroline Clemente of Benton, Maine, and Madeline Petrie of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine; as well as one brother, Merle Haskell of Garland, Maine; and countless nieces and nephews."

"The Muscatine Journal, 3 July 1912," p. 10: "Mrs. Nettie Coder, of Letts, one of the most prominent lodge women in the state, succumbed thls morning at 9:25 o clock at her home, after several months' illness with internal cancer. Mrs. Coder had been operated on for the dlsease at Bellevue hospital in Muscatine during the early spring, but the illness was of too aggravated a nature to be cured and the relief was but temporary. The deceased woman had reached her forty-nlnth milestone in life. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Paulin, of Grandview, she having been born and reared at the latter place. To survive her, there are her husband and five children - James and Lonnie, Misses Vinnie attd Esther: and Mrs. Alta Rasely, all of Letts. Mrs. Coder was a past president of the Louisa and Muscatine county assembly of Rebekah lodges and would have presided at the recent session in Muscatine if her health had permitted."

This website also offers: "On 12 Aug 1864 Charity Collar Sabine applied for a pension and received the following reply from the Adjutant General's Office, Washington, DC on 7 Dec 1864: "I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt from your Office of Application for Pension No. 67,896 and to return it herewith, with such information as is furnished by the files of this office. It appears from the rolls on file in this office that Curtis Sabine was enrolled on the 14th day of Dec 1863 at Eddington, Maine in Co D, 30th Regt of Maine Volunteers, to serve 3 years or during the war and mustered into the service as a Private from the 14th day of Dec 1863 at Augusta, Maine in Co D, 30th Regiment of Maine Volunteers to serve 3 years or during the war. On muster roll of Co D, of the Regiment for the months or March and April 1864. Reported died of exhaustion on the march April 12, 1864 at or near New Orleans, Louisiana.' She received a pension of $12.00 per month after 7 Dec 1864 until her death on 27 Aug 1894."

[13741] "The Daily Item [Sunbury, PA], 5 February 1976," p. 8: "Mrs. Mildred Seiler Ramer, 67, a lifelong resident of the Klingerstown RD area, died Wednesday at noon in the Geisinger Medical Center , Danville, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. Mrs. Ramer, who attended Upper Mahantango area schools, was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School in 1928. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown RD, the women's guild of the church and Central Valley Council 200, Daughters of America. In 1928 she married Fred Ramer, who survives. Born Dec. 4, 1908, in Upper Mahantango Township, Klingertown RD, she was a daughter of the late James and Marry Wetzel Seiler. Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. June Kauffman of Shamokin Dam; three granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Nora Neugard of Pitman. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown RD, with the Rev. Elden Ehrhatt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery."
