Find A Grave Memorial 55232634 offers: "Thompson Conley was born in October 1852 in Leesburg, Tennessee (Washington County), the youngest of at least nine children born to Josiah Conley (1804-1865) and Mary Ann Allison (1809-1852). His siblings included: Robert Allison, Rute H., James, John Alexander, Nancy Jane, Ann Eliza, William T., and Mary A. In 1850, at age two, he was living with his parents and siblings in Washington County, Tennessee. On February 5, 1876, in Dallas County, Texas, he married Ella Merrell (1854-1878). They had one child, Cornelia, born in 1877. On October 10, 1882, in Dallas County, Texas, he married Sarah Johnson. They had at least seven children including Tullia, Adeline, Horace Alexander, Julia Dora, Olin W., Ruth, and Thompson Johnson. In 1900, he was living in Lexington, Cleveland County, Oklahoma with his wife Sarah and their seven children: Tullia, age 15, born January 1885; Addie, age 13, born March 1887; Horace A., age 10, born December 1889; Julia A., age 8, born October 1891;, Olin W., age 7, born July 1893;, Ruth, age 1, born Jun 1898; and Tom, age 2/12, born March 1900. Thompson died in November 1936 in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County and was buried there in the Lexington Cemetery. Sarah died in 1943 in Lexington and was buried beside her husband."

(7th Edition, 1992), notes re: line 141A: "Uncertain whether Leo was son of Michael or of Basil" by Eudocia Ingerina, mistress of Michael III and later wife of Basil I. "The Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium" (NY: Oxford U. Press, 1991), II:1263, shows Leo as son of Basil I, founder of the Macedonian dynasty, and Eudocia Ingerina. http://www.san.beck.org/AB15-ByzantineEmpire.html reports "After his first wife Theaphano died in 897, Leo VI married his mistress Zoe a few months later; but she died without a son in 899. Leo then married the Phrygian Eudocia Baiana the next summer even though a third marriage violated the canon laws Leo had just codified, and the church complained; yet in 901 she died in child-birth, soon followed by the child. Disliking his brother Alexander, Leo wanted a son, and in 905 Zoe Carbonopsina gave him one. Patriarch Nicholas Mysticus baptized the boy Constantine the following January as the Emperor promised to separate from Zoe. Yet three days later in a private ceremony Leo married Zoe and proclaimed her Augusta. The angry Patriarch forbade the Emperor to enter a church on Christmas or Epiphany. So Leo received a dispensation from Pope Sergius III and forced Nicholas to resign, appointing the pliant Euthymius. In 911 Leo crowned his son Constantine Co-emperor. When Leo died of illness the next year, the hated Alexander became Emperor with the young Constantine as his colleague."

She was born in Hermon in the spring of 1929. Rosanne attended Hermon schools and graduated from the University of Maine in 1951. On April 19, 1953, she married Kenneth H. Gray, a Korean War veteran. Rosanne taught school for 17 years in North Anson, Carmel and Hermon. She was the author of the book, Recollections of Hermon, Maine, written for George 'Abe' Homsted. She was one of the authors of the book, Hermon, Maine, Then and Now which was published in 2005 after 6 ½ years of research and writings. She has been a member of the Hermon Historical Society since it was formed in 1987. Rosanne exercised at the YMCA for over 23 years. She enjoyed reading, feeding the birds, doing genealogy and historical research, and traveling with her husband in their motor home. She was always interested in town affairs and was very proud of her family. Rosanne was predeceased by her parents and step-mother, Ruth (Thompson) Pendleton. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Cynthia Little and her husband, Roy of Carmel, Nancy DeLong and her husband, Brent of Bangor; four grandchildren, Bryan Little, of Bangor, Lauren (Little) Pearson and her husband, David, of Manhattan, KS., Scott DeLong and his fiance Kelsey Burt of Bangor, Katelyn (DeLong) Boucher and her husband, Mark of Brunswick; a sister, Sylvia Leibensperger and her husband, Howard of Stephentown, N.Y.; three nieces; two sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Trenholm of Hermon, Charlene Norman of Jayess, MS ; and wonderful friends."

He was born in Harrington, ME, on October 5, 1949, son of the late Dana Sargent and Mary Oliver Sargent. He attended Seuben Elementary and was a graduate of Sumner Memorial in 1967. He was a self employed lobster fisherman for most of his life. He enjoyed clamming and working on the water. If he wasn't working, you could find him camping, going to the local dances, and fishing in his aluminum boat on the local lakes and ponds downeast. He served his town as a selectman and on the school board for many years, a past master of Pleiades Lodge in Milbridge and a noble in the Anah Shrine. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma (Smith) Sargent; his daughter, Amy Dacey and husband, Steve, of North Carolina; his son, Dennis W. Sargent Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Steuben; his grandchildren, Dennis W Sargent III and wife, Mindy, Shasta Sargent and companion, Zak, and Gabe Therrien; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his sisters, Narda Coombs and husband, Billy, Jane Workman and husband, Norman, and Kim Rice and husband, Ernie. He was predeceased by his grandson, Braden Therrier; and niece, Janet (Rice) Dorr."
