[32335] "West Schuylkill Herald [Tower City, Pennsylvania], 4 Janoary 1952," p. 1: "Mrs. Ida M. Reitz, wife of L. E. Reitz, of Leck Kill, Pa., died in the Pottsville Hospital, December 26, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Reitz was the daughter of the late John and Louise Haupt Gottshall of West Cameron. Surviving are her husband, five sons, one of whom is Dr. M. L. Reitz of Tower City, and four daughters, 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother also survive. Funeral services were held from the Lawrence Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, on Sunday afternoon, with further services in St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill, pastor Wm. Marburger officiating. Mrs. Reitz was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Women's Missionary Society. Burial was in the church cemetery."
