[39412] The unverified Deloras Otto Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 provides this person and offers from Wikipedia: "Deacon Edward Convers (1587-1663) was an early Puritan settler in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and was one of the founders of Woburn, MA. He built the first house and first mill in Woburn. Convers was very active in town affairs, serving as one of its first selectmen. He served on 'every committee and had a part in every movement that had this new settlement in view.' He also helped establish Charlestown. He was one of the colony's wealthy landowners, and was a farmer, miller and surveyor. Convers was born February 23, 1587, in Navestock, England. After his first wife died, he married Sarah Smith in 1617. He and his family arrived in Salem, Massachusetts, with the Winthrop Fleet on June 12, 1630, in the early stages of the Great Migration. He also founded the First Church of Charlestown, and established the first ferry from Charlestown to Boston. The ferry operated where the Charles River Bridge is now located, and was referred to as the 'Great Ferry' (to distinguish it from a smaller ferry operating between Charlestown and Winnisimmet). Convers died on August 10, 1663, in Woburn, Massachusetts."

[46604] "Bangor Daily News, 10 September 2015": CHERRYFIELD - Lester E. Foster, 88, died peacefully at home after a short illness on September 8, surrounded by love. He was born in Cherryfield on March 26, 1927, to Ira and Myrtle (Willey) Foster. He grew up in Cherryfield, attended local schools and would have been a member of the Cherryfield Academy class of 1944. In the closing days of WWII he was part of the U.S. Army of Occupation stationed in Germany as a corporal in the Military Police. He was quietly proud to have been chosen as a guard on a trip using Hitler's captured private train to carry over a million dollars in Nazi plundered Hungarian gold bullion from Germany back to bankrupt Budapest in 1946. Mr. Foster worked for various road construction firms for over six decades, starting with W.H. Hinman in the 40s. In the mid-50s he worked for Morrison-Knudson on the building of Pease Air Base in NH. He spent a total of over 25 years with the Bridge Construction Company of Augusta and later Morse Construction in Cherryfield. He continued working until his 80s, first with Cherryfield Foods and finally Jasper Wyman and Sons for whom he'd worked as a teenager more than 70 years earlier. He prized friends, laughter, honesty and work well done. He loved gardening, a well-kept lawn and the community of Cherryfield. He was predeceased in 2004 by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca (Sproul). He is survived by his devoted second wife, Cherry (Dobbins) of Cherryfield and his son Joseph of Wells. In addition, he is mourned by two step-children, Beth Tomko and husband Travis of Delray Beach, FL and Jason Bartlett and wife Danielle and their daughter, Madison, the apple of Lester's eye, of Gorham. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Bucci, of Canton, MA, and Mrs. Roberta Beal of Cherryfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family is grateful to the many friends and relatives who visited with Lester in his last few days. He was deeply touched by the outpouring of love and the time to laugh and reminisce with each of them."

She was born on May 10, 1940, in Ellsworth, to Walter, Sr., and Frances (Closson) Kelley. Jill graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1958 where her class voted her "Most Friendly." That description followed her throughout her life as she sought to love God and others well, including her family, the people she worked with and the many people who knew her in the community. She was deeply loved by her family, immediate and extended, and everyone she met over the years. Also, Jill enjoyed being a member of Bible Baptist Church of Hancock, ME. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Hancock) Zacharias and husband, Daniel, of Grandview, MO, with their children; son, Mark Hancock and wife, Rebecca, of Mechanicville, NY, with their children and their families; daughter, Sheryl (Hancock) Edgecomb and husband, Steven, of Hancock, with their children; and stepdaughter, Diane (Banks) Shaw and husband, Michael, of Dudley, MA, with children and families. She is also survived by sister, Marilyn Blaisdell of Milford; brothers, twin, Jack Kelley and partner, Marti Flint, of Ellsworth; brother, Richard Kelley and partner, Dorothy Epstein, of Jacksonville, NC; sisters-in-law, Lucy Kelley of Seal Cove, and Dr. Karen L.M. Kelley of Searsport. She was predeceased by husband, Samuel Banks (2018); son, James Hancock (2020); and brothers, Walter Kelley Jr., David Kelley and his wife Joyce Kelley, and Rexford Kelley."

They were married 65 years. Mr. Mattern was a retired automobile mechanic, retiring in 1980, having been employed by the former Crissinger Motor Company, Rebuck for 44 years. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, mowing lawn, relaxing on his porch and visiting friends and relatives. He was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill, where he had been a former church council member, a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood, and a life member of the Moose Lodge 59 of Millersburg. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Marilyn J. Mattern of Harrisburg; two sisters, Helen C. Snyder of RR1 Klingerstown and Hilda L. Kuhns of RR1 Dornsife; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two children, a baby girl who died in 1955 and a son, Larry Delano Mattern, who died in 1939."

[41626] "The Morning Call [Allentown, PA}, 9 March 1988," p. 49: "Mrs. Corrine M. Saltzgiver, 65, of 1414 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown, founder of the multiple sclerosis program at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Samuel Saltzgiver. She was coordinator of the Lehigh Valley Unit of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Allentown, for nearly 20 years before retiring last month due to illness. She began her career in 1968 as a volunteer during the society's Hope Chest appeal. As director, her duties included close contact with clients, helping them find counseling, programs and transportation. In recognition of her efforts in establishing the Good Shepherd program, she recently received a plaque from the National M.S. Society that will be placed in the clinic at Good Shepherd. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Dr. William G. and Edith M. (Witman) Kinsley. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie L. Spatz, at home, and a brother, William W. of Newark, Del."
