[55752] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 7 June 1984, p. 29: "Castine - Donald F. Hutchins, 81, died June 6, 1984 at a Castine hospital. He was born in Castine Aug. 21, 1902, the son of Peter S. and Isabelle (Hackett) Hutchins. He was a 50 year member of the Castine Oddfellows, a member of the Castine Lions Club and an active life member of the Castine Unitarian Church. He was a self-employed painting contractor in Castine until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Natalie (Crocker) Hutchins of Castine; two daughters, Norma M. Lewis of Chicago and Mary I. DeBeck of Lincoln; one sister, Isabel Manter of Haverhill, Mass.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Castine Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Denis T. Noonan III officiating."
