He was a retired employe of PP&L, and a former employe of the state and Johnson-Bailie Shoe Co. He was a member of the Millersburg Fire Company, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Effie G. Sheesley; three daughters, Mrs. Love Wise, Camp Hill; Mrs. Joyce Rothermel, RD Millersburg and Miss Wanda, at home; three sons, Edgar Francis, Mid-Citv, Okla; Edward James, RD1 Elizabethville and Donald Eugene, RD2 Harrisburg; two sisters. Miss Hanna and Mrs. Mary Riland, both of Matamoras; five brothers." Francis r. Halifax, Dauphin Co., PA. He m. Effie M. (1907-1984, buried with him).
