Ralston, 70, 1278 High, died Wednesday afternoon in a Topeka hospital following a long illness. He was born Jan. 7, 1907, in Sabetha and moved to Topeka in 1930. He was a pharmacist and owned and operated Owl Drug Store in Topeka many years. He also operated other drug stores in Topeka. He recieved his degree in pharmacy from Brunswick School of Pharmacy, Brunswick, Mo.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 51, AF&AM, Topeka Consistory, Arab Shrine, Kansas Pharmaceutical Association, Shawnee County Pharmaceutical Association and the Central Congregational Church. He was married Dec. 24, 1929, to Laurel Ewing in Sabetha. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Boling, Guilford, Conn.; a son, Dan K. Ralston, Redding, Calif.; two brothers, Harold E. Ralston, Kansas City, Kan., and Virgil M. Ralston, Janesville, Wis., and six grandchildren."
