[45686] "The News Journal [Wilmington, Del.], 30 May 2016," p. A9: "Anna May Riebe, 90 Newark passed away peacefully on May 28, 2016 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family. Anna was born in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late Anna (Hudak) and Andrew Dranchak. She worked as a computer programmer for over 10 years for Amoco BP. She was an expert quilt maker, bonco player, bowler with the Newark Senior Center and maker of Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Anna was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Mom enjoyed cooking traditional foods, doing puzzles, playing cards and board games, interacting on facebook with her grandchildren and beating everyone at putt-putt golf. She loved being with her family during the holidays and at the beach and everyone always left her home with a smile on their face. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Matthew and Peter Dranchak and her husband of 45 years, Alex L. Riebe, Sr. in 1995. Anna is survived by her son, Alex L. Riebe, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Birdsboro, PA; her daughters, Barbara Riebe of Newark and Marion Gebhart and her husband, J. Scott of Middletown; her grandchildren, Meghan (Doyle), Patrick, Elizabeth (Andrew), Deanna, Laura, Todd and Jessica (Eric); her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Brendon, Abagail, Hope, Whyatt and Madelyn and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Holy Family Church, 15 Gender Drive, Newark, DE 19713 at 12:30 PM, where friends may call after 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE."
