[41753] The unverified Parsons Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2016 reports "John Catlin was born on July 21, 1643, in Wethersfield, Connecticut. He married Mary Baldwin on September 23, 1662, in Connecticut. They had 10 [known] children in 22 years. He died on February 29, 1704, in Deerfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 60, and was buried there." https://familysearch.org offers: " No family suffered more than John Catlin's in the destruction of Deerfield, Massachusetts during the Indian Massacre of 29 February, 1703/4. He was killed trying to protect his home. His sons Joseph and Jonathan were also killed. His married daughters Mary French and Elizabeth Catlin Corse were killed during the subsequent march to Canada. His wife, Mary, 'being held with the other prisoners in John Sheldon's house, gave a cup of water to a young French officer who was dying. He was perhaps a brother of Hertel de Rouville. May it not have been gratitude for this act that she was left behind when the order came to march? She died of grief a few weeks later.'"

The deceased was a son of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Long) Hall and was born in Toboyne township in October, 1822. He moved from New Germantown to Alinda in 1865 and for the past twenty years had been living in the west. Mr. Hall was the father of ten children, eight of whom survive, namely: Rev. G. C. Hall, D. D., Wilmington, Del.; Matilda, (Mrs. Samuel Rice) Landisburg; Sarah, (Mrs. James Rhine-smith) Alinda ; Mary, (Mrs. D. J. Kell) of this place; William, Fairmont, Neb.; Maggie, (Mrs. Sylvester Spotts) Abilene, Kan.; Anna, (Mrs. George E. Aldrich) and E. Grant Hall), Fairmont, Neb. Mr. Hall when a young man became a member of the Reformed church, under the pastorate of Rev. Leinbach, After going west, there being no Reformed church near the place of his residence, he connected himself with the Congregational church. He was an honorable, conscientious, christian gentleman and lived a life of probity and usefulness, and when his summons came was ready to go. His memory will ever be cherished and revered by bis children and many friends."
[38758] Findagrave.com offers: "The following excerpt is from J.H Beers & Co.: Commemorative Biographical Record of Washington County, Pennsylvania - 1893: Nancy C. Adams, the subject proper of this sketch, was first married October 23, 1849, to James McKeown, whose parents emigrated from the Province of Munster, Ireland, when he was one year old, or in 1824. In the spring of 1850, the young couple located in Harrison county, Ohio, with buoyant spirits and bright prospects for the future; but, alas! how little we know of what the future has in store for us. Only three short months had passed since beginning housekeeping, when on June 29, 1850, Mr. McKeown, in assisting in tearing down a frame barn, received injuries from a fall which caused his death, July 7, 1850."
