Mrs. Boyd died on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at East Texas Medical Center Hospital in Tyler.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1934, in Albert Lea, Minn., to Archie and Mary Knudtson Anderson. She was a military wife and traveled and lived in many different countries before coming to Hideaway in 1992. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Lindale First United Methodist Church and was active in the Hideaway Mah Jongg group.
She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Anderson; and sister, Karen Krinkie.
She is survived by husband, Orlyn Boyd of Hideaway; son and daughter-in-law, Miles and Darlene Boyd of Cecilia, Ky.; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Ronald O. Cooper of Sheridan, Ind., Donna Joy and Paul Hoffmann of Redlands, Calif., and Sarah Christina and Jason Sutton of Beaver Creek, Ohio; mother, Mrs. Mary Hope Anderson of Albert Lea, Minn.; brother and sister-in-law, David and Phyllis Anderson of Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren, Lauren Olson, Lamar Olson, Jesse Boyd, Brennan Boyd, Joshua Sutton and Jackson Sutton; three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Darby and Calvin.

He was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a retired salesman and farmer. Surviving is his wife, E. Charlotte (Bush) Chesrown. Egeline de Courteny succeeded her husband, Gilbert Basset, to much of his property. It is recorded in the Testa de Nevil, "Egeline de Courteny holds of the lord the king's gift and her land in Burncester is worth LV£." She died in 1213 and was buried in the cemetery of the Priory, which she helped found. Her only daughter, Eustace, became the wife of, first Thomas de Verdon, Lord of the manor and, second, Richard de Camville, Lord of Middleton manor. ~Deanery of Bicester, Part II, History of Bicester, its town and Priory, p. 2."
