[10512] Grace Limeburner, "The Folks of Majorbigwaduce" (typescript at Bangor Library, p. 415), reports that Robert was a teacher and married his cousin, Sylvia Wardwell, daughter of Daniel, and that Robert and Sylvia had eleven children (listed). Robert and Sylvia are buried with his parents in the Jeremiah Wardwell Cemetery, Penobscot, ME, at the end of Wardwell Point in a field. "Maine Families in 1790," Vol 4, Maine Genealogical Society Special Publication No. 18, (Camden, ME: Picton Press) states that Robert was a veteran of the War of 1812, serving in Captain Rufus H. Storer's Company, Maine Militia - pension #WO-18314.
