Mahershallalhashbaz Dyer (son of William Dyer and Mary Barrett) was born Abt. 1643 in Boston, Suffolk, and died Bef. 1670 in Boston, Suffolk. He married Martha Pearce on Abt. 1665 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI.
The original Hebrew meaning of this name is: Hasten to take away the spoils: Make haste to take away the prey.
