He is son of Lewis Chesrown and Elizabeth Redd, both b. in PA., according to "Ohio Deaths 1908-1953". "News-Journal [Mansfield, Ohio], 28 March 1910," p. 4: "Adam Chesrown, very well known in Ashland and Richland counties, died at his home at Mohican in Ashland county Sunday morning at 12:25. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania and came to Ashland county with his parents when a mere boy. He was 73 years of ago on Jan. 13, last. Mr. Chesrown while working on hia farm had a leg broken some time ago and was laid up for quite awhile, but death was due to an attack of grip combined with the worry incident to the loss of a son at Akron recently by death. Mr. Chesrown was a very successful farmer in his earlier days but through reverses he lost much that he had acquired. Nothing daunted he went to work again harder than ever and had managed to get himself into comfortable circumstances once more when he was overtaken by death. Mr. Chesrown had a large family. He leaves a wife and five sons and two daughters to mourn his departure, while there are also six sons dead. The living children are as follows: H. H. Chesrown of Mansfield; Robert Chesrown of Akron; Adolphus, Lewis, Todd and Alice and Bertha of Mohican. Funeral Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Reformed church at Mohican, the Rev. Walker officiating and burial at St. John's cemetery three miles south of Mohican."

[13770] Known as Keith - the 1930 federal census lists him as Keith H. Haupt. His obitutary 22 Aug 1994 in the Hazelton (PA) Standard-Speaker: "Howard K. Haupt - retired photographer Howard Keith Haupt, 85, of 180 Venisa Drive, Ridgewood, a retired photographer for the Shamokin News-Item, died Sunday evening at Hazleton General Hospital, where he had been a patient for several weeks. Haupt, formerly of 1708 W. Lynn St., Shamokin, was bom in that comunity Jan. 11, 1909, a son of the late Edward and Mary Haupt. He worked for News-Item for 26 years, retiring in 1974 after winning several photography awards. Prior to that, he owned and operated a photography studio in Shamokin. He was educated in the Coal Township schools and the New York Institute of Photography. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II."

"The Daily Item [Sunbury, PA]," 22 July 1941, p. 12: "Mrs. Flora Rice, widow of Ward Rice, 1108 N. Front street, died Sunday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock at her home from ailments incident to advanced years. She had been in ill-health since her husband's death, March 17, which broke a marital union of 50 years. She was 78 years of age on November 5. Mrs. Rice was the daughter of the Hon. William M. and Emily Jones Rockefeller, of this city. Her father, a prominent attorney who served as a judge of the county courts, was a descendant of Godfrey Rockefeller, who established the family in Northumberland county in 1789. One of Godfrey's great - grandsons was John D. Rockefeller, who went to Cleveland, where he founded the Standard Oil Company and became the world's richest man. The county branch of the family became very extensive, and its members over a period of 150 years have been active in affairs of this section. Mr. Rice first came to Sunbury as a youth, after attending the academy in his native New Bloomfield, Perry county. He engaged here in the First National Bank and then moved to the West in 1886. He returned to wed Miss Rockefeller October 2, 1889. They lived in Colorado until 1902, when they moved to Los Angeles. They returned to this city 15 years ago. Surviving Mrs. Rice are one son, Arthur W. Rice, and grandsons William W. Rice ad Robert G. Rice, of Montclair, N. J., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ewing, of this city."
