Joyce Hardware Store. She was a past member of the Eastern Star. Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Donna B. Billings of Deer Isle; three grandchildren, Arthur J. Billings and his wife, Diane, Dana E. Billings and his wife, Bobbi, and Cyndi A. Billings; a special granddaughter, Patsy Murray; four great-grandchildren, Sara, Lori, Blake and Anne; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, John J. Billings; four brothers, Raymond, Arthur, Thomas and James Haskell; four sisters, Georgia Gray, Rose Barbour, Aida Haskell and Marguerite Montenegro. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 1996, at Island Nursing Home, Deer Isle, with Elder Winfield Billings officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Adams Cemetery, Deer Isle."

He died in November 1717, in his hometown, at the age of 67, and was buried in Manchester, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America." - and offers this note: "He was a soldier in King Philip's War, Selectman in 1687,88,91,94,96,98,1700, 01,02,03,04, and 1705. He and his nephew, Samuel were on a committee chosen Dec 5, 1715 to look out for a minister to preach at Manchester.
